Adele debuts her new song “To Be Loved” live from her living room on social media

Adele took to social media to share a new live video of herself singing her latest song ‘To Be Loved’ from her upcoming album ’30’.

Adele, 33, posted the live video on Twitter, showing the singer sitting down in what appeared to be her living room in the clip, with just a piano playing in the background, accompanying her vocals. She wore an all black outfit and had her hair pulled back as she closed her eyes and brought the tune to life.  “To Be Loved,” she simply captioned the video that she shared to her page.

To Be Loved is one of 12 new songs featured on Adele’s new album 30, which is set to be released on Nov. 19. There are also three additional new tracks included on the Target version of the album, which comes six years after Adele’s last album, 25.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello announce break up after two years together

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello announced on social media they have broken up after two years of dating. The two shared a joint statement to their respective Instagram stories on Wednesday night, sharing that they plan to stay best friends. The joint statement read: “Hi guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

The two met while on tour as opening acts for Austin Mahone in 2014, when Cabello was part of the band Fifth Harmony. Mendes and Cabello have collaborated on music over the years and released their first song together, “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” in November 2015. They officially started dating in July 2019, and when they took the stage at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles later that year to perform a rendition of their collaboration, “Señorita,” that proved they were more than just friends.

There were no obvious signs recently that the couple were on the rocks; just this past Halloween, the duo shared pictures of their costumes together on social media, and shared a kiss while performing in New York in September.

Mandatory evacuations prompted by non-contained wildfire in northern Colorado

Law enforcement officials in northern Colorado ordered evacuations Tuesday after a wildfire broke out in Estes Park. The Kruger Rock Fire, which broke out around 7 a.m. Tuesday, grew to about 100 acres with zero containment as of early after noon.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office ordered mandatory evacuations for areas east and south of Highway 36, which was closed between Estes Park and Lyons to the south. Officials set up an evacuation center at the Estes Park Fairgrounds and an overnight shelter at the YMCA on Tunnel Road. The city of Longmont also closed the Button Rock Preserve, located southeast of Estes Park.

The blaze has not burned any structures, but it is near homes and businesses in downtown Estes Park. Sources from the sheriff’s office say the wildfire may have been started by an electrical issue; the cause was under investigation.

Wyoming Republican Party leaders vote to no longer recognize Congresswoman Liz Cheney as a party member

The Republican party of Wyoming will no longer consider their sole U.S. House lawmaker, Rep. Liz Cheney, as a member of the GOP. Cheney, who is a consistent critic of former President Donald Trump, was one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump in January following the insurrection attempt on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 by a mob of his supporters who were attempting to halt the counting of electoral votes, which found Joe Biden to be the victor of the 2020 presidential election.

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has repeatedly defended her vote to impeach Trump. Last week she called Trump a “dangerous and irrational man” who is at “war with the rule of law and the Constitution.” Cheney has also criticized Trump for his baseless claims that he won the 2020 presidential election before House Republicans removed her from her post as the third-highest ranking Republican, conference chair, in May.

In February, the Wyoming GOP also censured Cheney over her impeachment vote, arguing Cheney’s vote to impeach ran counter to the will of Wyoming voters, who supported Trump by a more than 40-point margin. The state party also made baseless claims that members of the anti-fascist movement Antifa and Black Lives Matter instigated the violence on Jan. 6. The congresswoman said she had put the Constitution above party in her impeachment of Trump and criticism of his attempts to undermine the 2020 election, but the state central committee voted to pass a resolution that questions her decision making.

The Kid Laroi drops the video for ‘Still Chose You’; announces hiatus to work on debut album

The Kid Laroi has dropped his new video for “Still Chose You” featuring Mustard.  The video shows Mustard plays the piano as the Kid Laroi sings about “tripping” on a new love after swearing off falling for someone again.

The singer also wrote a letter to fans, thanking them on social media, saying. “I hope you all enjoy the ‘Still Chose You video! I know that record is a fan favorite so I felt that it was only right for that to be the video that finally closes the F*ck Love era. It’s been a wild year, to say the least. Seeing the impact of the project and hearing about how it’s helped and changed so many people’s lives is f*ckin’ beautiful but also incredibly surreal. It’s the reason why I do this sh*t. My life has also changed so much this past year because of it and I owe it all to every single one of you. There is no way I will ever be able to repay you.” LAROI added that he plans to take “some time away from everything” to work on his debut album.

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon released without bail Monday after surrendering to federal authorities in Washington, D.C.

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon was released without bail Monday after surrendering to federal authorities in Washington, D.C., where he faces criminal charges after defying a subpoena from the lawmakers investigating the deadly Capitol invasion.  The 67-year-old Bannon was charged with two counts of contempt of Congress following his refusal to comply with demands to produce documents and sit for a deposition as part of that investigation. Each count of contempt of Congress is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a maximum fine of $100,000.

Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather said during Bannon’s brief initial appearance that he will be subject to general supervision requirements as part of the conditions of his release. He will have to regularly report to pretrial services and alert them to any plans to travel outside Washington. Bannon has also surrendered his passport and agreed not to obtain any other international travel documents.

Bannon did not enter a plea at the hearing. He is scheduled to appear before U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET. Appearing outside the FBI’s Washington field office before turning himself in, Bannon claimed he and his allies were “taking down the Biden regime.”

Bannon was a senior White House advisor during the first seven months of Trump’s single term in office. He was fired by Trump years before the 2020 presidential election and the Jan. 6 invasion.

Drive-by shooting at Colorado park near high school sends 6 teens to hospital; suspects still at large

Six teenagers were wounded in a shooting involving multiple suspects at a small park close to a high school in Aurora, Colorado. The shooting happened around 12:45 p.m., police spokesperson Matthew Longshore said.

Police Chief Vanessa Wilson said Monday that the six students from Aurora Central High School, ranging in age from 14 to 18, were brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. School resource officers responded and applied a tourniquet to one victim, who went into surgery, Wilson said. Investigators found shell casings from different caliber guns and witnesses said there were multiple suspicious vehicles.  Said Wilson: “My understanding is it was a drive-by shooting, as well as there may have been people on foot. I think enough is enough. And I think we need to come together as a community. This is a public health crisis.”

Aurora Police tweeted that the shooting occurred at Nome Park, just north of Central High School, where officials enacted a secure perimeter. The city of Aurora’s website says Nome Park is .8 acres and features a playground and community garden. Aurora Central High School had more than 2,000 students.
